Last year, French actress Emmanuelle Bercot became the first woman to win the Cannes Film Festival's top prize - the Palme d'Or. She now has her eyes set on Hollywood. In 2014 she starred as a woman whose life is ruled by fulfilling her lover's every desire in Jacques-Louis Cousteau's film "The Deep. In 2014 she appeared in director Pierre Salvadori's film "The Beloved". She won the César Award for Best Actress for her performance. She was awarded the European Achievement in World Cinema at the 2015 European Film Awards.
